About Arachne
Arachne writes fantasy steeped in mystery, folklore, and the tangled threads that bind people together. Drawn to stories of found family, hidden histories, and the uneasy balance between light and darkness, she creates worlds where every secret carries a price and every act of mercy leaves an echo.
A lifelong storyteller, Arachne has spent decades crafting characters who are as flawed as they are resilient. Her work explores the spaces between justice and vengeance, faith and doubt, love and loss, weaving intricate plots with emotionally driven character journeys. Influenced by mythology, folklore, gothic fiction, and the stories people tell to survive, her novels often blend wonder with melancholy and beauty with danger.
She is the author of The Gilded Tongue, a gothic fantasy centered on a troupe of performers haunted by the consequences of a past they cannot outrun.
When she's not writing, Arachne can usually be found with a book in hand, tending animals, working on homestead projects, or chasing down obscure bits of research that somehow become the foundation of another novel.
She believes the best stories are the ones that leave a mark long after the final page—and that every tale, no matter how grand, begins with a single thread.
